A look back at Naeemah LaFond’s most iconic styles in NYFW history

This season’s New York Fashion week was not your average fashion week, don’t expect standard NYFW with packed crowds at live shows and crews of photographers taking street snaps. Instead, the runways had gone virtual, with live-streaming shows and digital presentation, but the schedule is still full of events and fashion extravaganzas.
We’re throwing back to some of the iconic looks our global artistic director – Naeemah LaFond had created as an ode to NYFW’s of the past.
Christopher John Rogers
Naeemah has been involved in Christopher John Rogers shows for 4 seasons, and they will continue to work together in the upcoming digital fashion week this month! CJR, Louisiana native, started out in Brooklyn and has now landed a spot in SoHo! As praised by Vogue UK: “What defines a Christopher John Rogers look? A joyful burst of color married with old-school salon sensibility, certainly, but also a commanding sense of self-awareness.”
The duo brought inspiration from topiary art and married hair and garments as one. The pair has been pushing boundaries in their fields. Are you ready to see their work for the digital show?
