peek inside the bag of amika bestie, Gabrielle Rizzo

A copywriting specialist, trend analyst, marketing genius, creative story teller, and Social Media Manager by day, and a freelance content creator by night. This multi-talented girl is none other than our bestie, Gabrielle Rizzo.
“I’m all about art, travel, pop culture – everything that inspires me to create. Not to brag, but sometimes I am often inspired by myself too, especially on days when I have a bit too many cuppa teas or when I have a three-course meal, each made of skincare. I enjoy days when I can “do the most”, for example taking in a bunch of wholesome creative content, multi-masking, fixing my brows, all in the name of Selfcare. But truth be told, glowy no-makeup skin, third or even fourth day hair and applying makeup with fingers are my type of things.’’
Which bag is your favorite at the moment?
Chloe’s Mini C Bag is definitely my go-to bag right now. I know…… I always have a thing for mini impractical bag, but who doesn’t love a cute mini? Alright, but to be 100% honest, you can’t survive weekdays with just a tiny bag, you’ll usually see me with a much bigger, very lived-in second hand Louis Vuitton Epi Noe Bucket Bag — the sort of bag that you reach in for your lipstick for 3 whole minutes and still couldn’t find it.
Let’s get real, whatcha got in your bag?!
At the moment, things I can’t live without are: Airpods, Glossier Boy Brow, Byredo Black Saffron Hand Cream, Prada wallet, Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder, a pocket mirror for summer touch-up, lip gloss never goes wrong (I use Dior 006 Berry), amika fluxus touchable hairspray, a few bobby pins and my keys (not pictured). I always keep my phone on hands —so that’s PKW, and pretty much it. And yes, all of this + tons of receipts can fit into my mini bag.
The no.1 handbag trick that you swear by?
I *never* leave home without a travel hairspray, NEVER! Because:
- For touch-ups
- In case of in bad humid weather
- To fix a run in your tights; and
- If I forgot my Boy Brow, hairspray can be a brow saver – just spray a little to a spoolie and work it through your brows.
Hairspray, is the most underrated product, ever.
